SO hey guys today I am going to introduce a village located in sambalpur district of odisha in india.my village khinda where I live
This village is located in rengali tehsil in sambalpur district in odisha State, India it is located 33 km toward north from district headquarter sambalpur. Khinda's local language is oriya . Almost everyone in this village are odias and speak odia but they are knowns to many languages.
This village has a huge amounts of non-renewable resources which is called coal. We villagers also called it black diamond. Yes it is diamond for us because it provides income opportunities to all the unemployed peoples in this village.
Before 4-5 decade there was only few houses, few peoples were residing in this village and it was covered by Forest but now in this day houses have been increased by 40 to 50 times
There are many industries and factories situated in khinda and nearby khinda. These factories are creating air pollution by emitting different gasses and fumes in the air . These factories are also cause of sound pollution. These factories are bhushan power and steel , Aditya birla and groups, Syam metalics, GMR chhatishgarh LTD, NLC India ete.
This village is developing but the peoples in this village are still underdeveloped. The literacy rate of this village is nearby 65%. Where most of the people are working in different factories nearby khinda. Few of these people are doing small business and few of these are engaged in cultivation
This village has given birth to many freedom fighters and glorious persons . VEER SURENDRA SAI was born in this village, as everyone knows who he was and how he was , I'll just give you a brief introduction of him
VEER SURENDRA SAI was an Indian freedom fighter born in 23 January 1809. He was a tribal leader who sacrifice his life fighting against the British east India company. He died in asirgarh jail on 23 May 1884
